Who is behind Frylics?
My name is Frank Visser and I am the founder of Frylics, the webshop that provides your TCG collection with acrylic cases and accessories. It started when I received one pack of Pokémon cards from a friend. This brought back nostalgic feelings and I realized how much I had missed these cards. This is how my search for more cards and sealed products began.
During my search, I quickly discovered that there were few good options for preserving my collection. That's why I decided to look for acrylic cases myself and use them to store my collection. This turned out to work so well that I received more and more enthusiastic responses from other collectors. Eventually the idea was born to make these boxes available to others and that is how Frylics was born.
The name Frylics is a combination of my name Frank and the material the boxes are made of, acrylics. With Frylics I hope to be able to provide others with quality products, so that the community remains close and everyone is satisfied. I think it is extremely important to deliver the best quality, so that my customers can keep their collection with peace of mind.
As a full-time employee behind the scenes at television, I cannot always be reached by telephone. That is why I have decided not to make my telephone number public, but I have made a WhatsApp number specially available. You can also contact me with any questions and comments via email or social media. I can assure you that I will do everything I can to help you as quickly and as best as possible.
I am extremely happy with Frylics and would like to share my passion for Pokémon and other TCG games with others. I hope that I can make a positive contribution to the community with my webshop and I look forward to making many more people happy with my products.

Registration with the Chamber of Commerce
It is official! This day I entered the doors of the Chamber of Commerce to officially register as an entrepreneur. A long-awaited dream that finally came true.

Opening webshop
It is with enthusiasm and a hint of relief that I can say that this is a moment I have been looking forward to for so long. My long-awaited webshop, called Frylics, was officially opened to the public on August 1, 2023.
Although it is a bit later than originally planned, the unforeseen challenges I encountered along the way did not deter me.
Opening Frylics is not only realizing my dream, but it is also a step into the unknown, full of adventure and possibilities. I can't wait to welcome my customers and provide them with high-quality products and excellent customer service.

1st order
Party! The website was live and I proudly let people around me know this. Not much later my phone lit up and I saw a notification: "Name has placed an order with you." A wave of emotions washed over me - joy, excitement and disbelief. It was the name of my friend, the very first customer and my biggest supporter. A smile from ear to ear. An unforgettable moment of happiness, the starting signal of my e-commerce adventure.
What she ordered? A Slab 1-slot acrylic case so she can put one of her cards she wants graded in there.

Frylics International
Frylics opened its digital doors in August 2023, and I am excited to share that I have already received international recognition with Frylics before January 1, 2024. I can proudly say that Frylics has already received orders not only in the Netherlands, but also in Belgium, France, Germany, Denmark, Austria and Spain. This rapid international growth is inspiring and motivates us to break even more boundaries in 2024 and beyond.

1st presence Pokémon fair
On January 28, 2024, I ventured into the exciting adventure of the POKEDAYZ fair for the first time. This step was extra challenging because I had to register well in advance, and this process required a lot of time and attention, especially because my focus was mainly on the webshop. Signing up for POKEDAYZ came with a lot of questions: How much inventory should I bring? What details should I not overlook?
Despite my lack of experience in trade fair participation, the POKEDAYZ trade fair was an unforgettable experience. It was not only an opportunity to present my products to a passionate audience, but also a lesson in entrepreneurship and preparation. Although challenging, participating in POKEDAYZ broadened my horizons and opened up new possibilities for my business. I look back on this special milestone with pride!

Frylics has its own office!
Frylics started small. With an idea from home, this adventure started from my bedroom, which quickly grew into a garage. With a good dose of passion for unique products and a nose for what is going on in the market, orders soon poured in and the boxes also piled up in the garage.
It became clear: Frylics was more than a hobby. It was a successful company with growth potential. On May 14, 2024, the next step was taken: I received the key to my office space.

With a total weight of 140 kilos, this was not an order that we could simply post. No, this required a robust pallet to safely transport this valuable collection. The tension was palpable when we sent the pallet on its way, knowing that behind those acrylic walls lay a true collector's dream.
